Hanson Brick’s newly-renovated Pharr brickyard offers greater product selection, one-stop shopping for Lower Rio Grande Valley builders

As part of recent initiatives to enhance and improve customer service, Hanson Brick has fully renovated its brickyard in Pharr, Texas, making it possible to accommodate additional brick inventory, provide for optimal display areas and offer one-stop shopping for customers.
The yard, located at 503 W. Nolana Road, remained open to customers during the renovation work, which included extensive grading and resurfacing. The result is a yard that can hold nearly 4 million bricks – almost doubling its previous capacity – and provide a safe, clean, efficient place for customers to view and purchase brick and masonry products.
“We feel our customer service already sets us apart from our competitors,” said Joe Longoria, regional sales manager for Hanson Brick. “These changes enhance our ability to serve the rapidly growing Lower Rio Grande Valley market and will give the yard a highly professional appearance.”
The finished yard will have a prominent display area visible from West Nolana Road. The yard began carrying sand and, pavers, this fall as part of its expanded product offering, and already stocks cement, mortar colors, wall ties and lintels used in masonry construction.
“The idea behind these changes is to create a convenient, one-stop shop for masons and contractors,” said Thad Cleckler, vice president commercial for Hanson Brick’s South Central region. “This investment will help us go one step further to provide top-notch, responsive customer service centered on a pleasant and efficient brickyard in the highly competitive Valley market.”
